| Project summary: EDI improved workflow for The Psychological Corporation, a subsidiary of Reed Elsevier and supplier of clinical testing material, which recently completed a three-phase implementation and upgrade of PeopleSoft 7.53 Financial and Distribution Suites. EDI consultants led, managed and participated in several phases and components, including module upgrades, integrations and application and business process engineering. Significant contributions and achievements were made in the integration of the Distribution Modules (Order Management, Inventory and Purchasing) and in the technical documentation and training areas. Overall, Executive Direction consultants' responsibilities included designing processes to convert and clean up legacy customer data, implementing distribution, GL, AP and PO modules, and providing technical writing, knowledge transfer and training services. The Psychological Corporation is a major supplier of educational and clinical testing material, and Executive Direction has been providing consulting services to this client since 2000. |

| Project summary: This healthcare client needed to find a network security professional available for a short-term project on a budget rate — and was having difficulty finding someone available who had the very specific skills required for the job. Within one week of receiving the requirement, EDI's consultant was hired for this hard-to-fill position. This network security specialist worked closely at the client's site to install the necessary software/equipment so the client could meet HIPAA security requirements. The consultant had to utilize strong trouble resolution skills related to network security issues and determine root causes via a consistent, logical approach. The project was completed on time with value added by our consultant, which resulted in additional work at the client site. |
